Partnership Foundation and the Rainbow Homes
India

Partnership Foundation is a Dutch foundation that co-founded the Rainbow Homes Program (RHP) in India. The Rainbow Homes Program aims to improve the living conditions and future prospects of former street children in India by providing them with shelter, care, education, and most importantly, love and attention on their path to adulthood and independence. In addition to providing financial support, Partnership Foundation invests in knowledge and expertise to assist the program. Since its inception, Partnership Foundation's ultimate goal has been to gradually transfer full responsibility for the program to the Indian organization.

Himmelblau has been collaborating with Partnership Foundation and the Rainbow Homes for over 10 years. Himmelblau played a pivotal role in establishing an Indian organization for the Rainbow Homes Program, working closely with the Indian team and Partnership Foundation. The focus has been on scaling up the Rainbow Homes Program and strengthening the organization in India. Himmelblau also provided guidance in developing the program's initial branding and fundraising strategy. Currently, Himmelblau continues to support the Indian team in further enhancing their fundraising capabilities, donor relations, and communications. Sharing knowledge and leveraging Himmelblau's network are integral components of this collaboration.

In the course of the years, the Rainbow organization in India has been able to significantly expand its donor base and establish long-term partnerships both within India and internationally. This enables the organization to reach even more vulnerable children. Presently, the Rainbow Homes Program operates in 10 cities in India, supporting approximately 4,000 children. Furthermore, an impressive group of over 8,700 Rainbow Homes alumni has emerged.
